It’s springtime home in the United States. That means new things are blooming and at home the irises have bloomed. Something was discovered while admiring how pretty they are.
Another plant was growing right next to them. It was tall, green stalk but it had what looked like a green bud on them instead of the flowers. They looked the same but were weeds. The growth process of the irises couldn’t be stopped just because tares were around. Timing is key here.
We are told in the good book to let the wheat and tares (weeds) grow. When it’s harvest time to, we sort through both and separate. We gather the tares. Those go to burn. We gather the wheat and bring them into the barn.
So what does that mean for us now?
- Discernment – to judge accurately
- Direction – to know where we are going
- Discipline – to stay the right course
I hope you have all three to navigate current and future seasons.
